“Hey!” “Haven’t seen you in a long time!” “How are you!?”

“I’m great thanks.” “How was your trip?”

“OMG, it was the most beautiful and horrible trip I’ve ever been to.” “ You will not believe what happened. I don’t know what I was thinking when I accepted going on a trip with my older brothers.”

“Jajaja, so funny. You need to tell me, everything girl.”

“Yeah, I will. Let’s meet in an hour at the cafe down my block.”

“Alright. See you then.”

At the cafe, the two girls are sitting at a table drinking coffee and having some snacks.

“So, tell me what happened on the trip.”

“Mmm, yes.”

“So, since March my brothers were planning a trip to Peru, and because I’m the “little sister” they were not planning on inviting me. We fought for three consecutive days for this. The house became a battlefield. It was horrible! Even my mom cried while we fought. Can you believe this? ”

“Such a stupid.”

“The thing is after those three days, I convinced my brothers to take me with them.”

“The trip was planned for mid-June although when the month arrived we had almost everything ready. My brothers had rented a huge and beautiful house in the countryside of Peru.”

“When the day arrived, we went to the airport extremely early. We were in the waiting room attentive to when our flight was announced. And it was then when I saw them arrive. I couldn’t believe my brothers had invited his friends without letting me know. Can you believe that!?”

“It was pretty obvious they would do that.”

“Whatever, I was really mad at them but I couldn’t do anything now, so I just made myself onto the airplane and fell asleep.”

“When we arrived to Peru, a bus was waiting for us. They took us to our rented house which was beautiful and had a spectacular view. It was surrounded by nature and there were lots of birds singing.”

“But then I took into account that there must not be a signal, meaning no internet. And yeah I was right, no internet for a WHOLE MONTH STUCK WITH BOYS IN A HOUSE AT THE MIDDLE OF THE FOREST!”

“Jajajaja. I’m wondering what you did for the whole month.”

“I actually did lots of things. Luckily the house had an enormous pool to which I went almost every day.”

“Oh! Cool.”

“Yeah! It was actually fun being with the boys, but it was until that night when it happened.”

“It was a Sunday and we were in the living room of the mansion waiting for the food to arrive. We had decided to eat a bowl of rice with veggies that day. We wanted to order food to that place since a man at the airport had recommended to us that place.”

“When the doorbell rang, I stood up and one of my brothers did so to open the door. I went to look at the mirror in the living room as I had touched a small pimple on my face and wanted to look at it.”

“When I look in the mirror I see my brother is opening the door but seconds later, the delivery guy took a gun out of his pocket and then more people entered the house making us lay down on the floor with our hands in the back of our neck.”

“Omg! What happened next!?”

“Well, they took us in a truck to a really weird place where other weird people were. They cut each of us in the hand to take some blood samples. Then, they imprison us in a jail that was horrible, but with terrible security! Jajajaj We got to escape after 15 minutes in there! We ran as fast as we could until we arrived at a really strange village full of homeless people and drug addicts.”

“We arrived at a park full of drug addicts where one told me “Hola Mami se perdio?” and touched my butt. All of my brothers threw themselves at the man who had disrespected me. Then a type of like cab, but bigger, noticed we were foreigns and offered us to take us to our staying place. We accepted but told the men what had happened and begged him to please call the police before we left the place. The police arrived a few minutes later and we gave them details about what we had experienced. They thanked us and we were able to go to the rented house.”

“Wao Madeline! That’s tragic!”

“Yeah, but besides from that, the rest of the trip was beautiful.”

“You’re a weirdo!”
